Node Explains
Blender: What Can You Actually Make With It?
Blender is free, enormous and slightly intimidating. Here is what people genuinely produce with it.

Blender is a free, open-source 3D suite. That is both its strength and its problem: it can do so much that the first screen tells you nothing about where to begin.
The five things people actually make
Product and object visuals. Modelling something real and lighting it properly. This is the most employable use of the software.
Character and environment art. The route into games, animation and illustration.
Short animation. Blender has a full animation and rendering pipeline built in — our Paper City project was finished entirely in it.
Files for 3D printing. Modelling a functional object, checking the wall thickness, exporting and printing.
Motion graphics and composites. Title sequences, product shots, simple VFX.
How to start without drowning
Pick one output and ignore the rest of the interface for a month. Our 3D Fundamentals bootcamp does exactly that: everyone models one object, prints it, then animates it.
Is it the right tool for you?
If cost is a factor, yes. If you need to work inside a studio pipeline, learn the concepts here and the specific software will come quickly — the thinking transfers.
Want to put this into practice? Node runs workshops, bootcamps and mentoring across these areas.
